Archive for July, 2009

these great new lines from the girls at Bella Blvd! Stephanie and her team are a fabulously creative and oh so cute! I met up with them at Scrap Etc. back in the spring and then was asked to be a Bella Artista in the upcoming months!! So here are some of the things I will hopefully soon be creating with! Go check them out here

There is a boy themed line, a girl themed line (both of which are needed at my house), a camping/outdoorsy line and a fun flowery line! I really can’t pick my favorite — I will have to have all four!!

pee ess:  Bella Blvd is also one of our sponsors for the ‘Scrapbooking — the Basics’ class I am teaching throughout the month of July! We will be playing with some of their beautiful papers and cardstock stickers tomorrow night!! Thanks again, girls!

Bold and Simple!

Just thought I’d throw this layout I created for my Scrapbooking Class going on this month into the mix for GCD Studios! They are holding a contest for bold and simple (which I consider this layout) and since I used GCD patterned paper I thought I ‘d link it! Thanks for looking!

Cardstock: American Crafts (orange and black); Patterned Paper: GCD Studios (Grid), Piggy Tales (iPod); Alphas: Thickers by American Crafts, Stamps by G Studios; Punch: Star by EK Studios; Ink: Jet Black by Staz-on; Other: Metallic Silver Paint pen and orange glitter

Thanks for looking!

We had a great time last night (the first night) of our month long scrapbooking class at my church! Things went really smoothly and everyone completed all of their layouts and cards! Can’t get any better than that! We had some new gals who had never completed a page before and we had some veterans who actually learned something new! I have a lot to live up to for next week!! Also I wanted to take a chance to publicly say thanks so much to our class sponsors American Crafts and Cosmo Cricket — the paper and thickers made these pages fun to create!! Here are the things we made last night!

summerfun (i stole the idea for this paper pieced sun from my friend gretchen – she’s so inspirational!)

and then a couple of cards

Okay girls — thanks again for coming! I can’t wait for next Tuesday!!
