Baseball Tonight!

I think there is a program named that on ESPN! (I am not certain about that so please don’t send any crazy emails if there really isn’t!)

Anyway I have been taking tons of photos at Audrey’s T-Ball games (which is really hard while trying to keep tabs on the two boys who are trying to escape to all parts of the park and beyond) and I thought I’d share a couple!

We are definitely having too much fun here!

Happy 39th Anniversary!

Will’s mom and dad have been married for 39 years! I just think it is so amazing! What’s even cooler is that my mom and dad will also celebrate their 39th anniversary in September! Both sets of our parents and grandparents were only married once and never divorced — I’m telling you that is nothing short of a miracle these days! Will and I are so lucky to have such great examples in our everyday life!! We are so proud of you two!

This is just a quick card I made for them using My Little Shoebox die-cuts and transparency  and American Crafts thickers.

Audrey made this one!

Don’t worry Grandma picked Audrey’s as the favorite (mine didn’t have a fighting chance here folks!)

KWerner Inspiration #49

Happy Easter!
We have had a busy week — Easter Egg Hunts, T-Ball games, church events, Audrey’s baptism and all the while my sister and her three girls were here to enjoy it with us! However I didn’t want to let the color challenge go by without participating, so here is a quick layout I did over the weekend for Kristina’s color challenge! Thanks for looking!

The patterned paper is Scenic Route and Wild Asparagus, the cardstock, ribbon, ink and stamps are all SU, the “always”, pink letter rub-ons, and the ornate frame are Heidi Swapp, and the “get wet” letters and journaling sticker are American Crafts! Thanks for looking!

Will caught his at night — he and our oldest nephew Jay went out after dinner and came home with this beauty!

Audrey landed her sheepshead after doing EVERYTHING by herself (even putting the live shrimp on the hook)! It seemed like if Will or I touched that child’s pole she didn’t consider it “her” fish — so we stayed out of her way and she brought this big guy on board!

The Crayman didn’t disappoint either! I can’t tell you the whole story on this one — all I know is that about twelve younguns came running off the dock and into the house yelling grab the camera EVEN CRAY has one! So I ran out and my little man was in pose mode with the little pinfish upside down! These are the moments I live for!!

Were you worried? You shouldn’t worry! Last year I caught my fish of the week while Hill was close to three months and asleep in my arms — this year I hooked this one with Hill on my hip! Every good mama can hold a baby on one hip and land a big red with the other!! First cast — first bait — I must have just been holding my mouth right! Whatever the karma, it sure was fun!! He fought a good fight and the kids were all jumping and squealing — lots of great family fun!

Hill just stirred in the bait well most of the afternoon! He basically tormented the poor bait — but had a great time splashing and playing and watching the bubbles!
