Happy Birthday Cray!!

My middle man is THREE!! I can’t believe it! The Birthday Fairy came last night and filled his room with balloons and we had a few friends over for hot dogs (his first request was the hibatchi — but we weren’t doing that on Christmas Eve) and cake at lunch! This picture was from my mom’s house this weekend!

More from NYC

Here are a few more from NYC!

We went through this fabulous (and very funny) Charmin experience. They are an outlet for public restrooms in New York because the regular stores don’t offer this service to the general public. So this was the “Disney” type attitude for offering bathrooms. The Charmin Store — “where the going’s always good!” We cracked up — you can get your picture taken in the photo booth area, they have a small play area for the kids, it was fantastic! These are a couple of the photos we took there!

Back from the Big Apple

We had a fabulous time in New York City! We saw The Little Mermaid on broadway, went to a Knicks vs. Nets game, saw the Rockettes’ Christmas Spectacular at Radio City Music Hall and rode a carriage through Central Park!! (Along with tons of shopping and eating and waiting in lines!!) The Rockefeller Center was beautiful and the tree was breathtaking! We rode tons of escalators (they have them in every store) and the subway and taxis and airplanes, a train, the carriage– for my transportation focused child it was a dream come true!!  Audrey says her favorite part was the toy store. We all really loved the place — even though we missed out on snow!

Last weekend’s trip!

Last weekend we ventured off to Stone Mountain before heading to the SEC Championship game! We took the little guys to see the Gators defeat Alabama for a chance to play for the National Championship. Thursday and Friday we stayed on Stone Mountain, so I thought I would leave you with a few pictures before we head off to New York City! Our plane leaves tomorrow morning! I will certainly post plenty here if our hotel is wireless!!

Goings on

I just thought I’d check in super quick before making a run for it today! I have a list a mile long and it all seems to have to happen right NOW! We are heading up to Atlanta for the SEC game and while we are there we are going to the Christmas Extravaganza that it happening over at Stone Mountain. So first on the list is laundry (isn’t that always the case). Then I haven’t been to the grocery store since my final trip before thanksgiving. Our meal was terrific and my first turkey was succulent! (That is the description that was on the jar of brine I used so my husband and his family really had a good time with that!) I didn’t take a picture of it though — I know, crazy — I’ll have to try again at Christmas! So second on the list is Wal-Mart. Then I am working on some sewing projects for Christmas and trying to finish up a few scarves and hats before we head out to New York. So those projects are always on the list along with Christmas cards and some invitations I am working on, as well as put up a Christmas tree and decorate around the house! I did want to leave you with one of the most fun parts of my day lately… this is what I have awakened to the last three mornings.

He is pulling up — and rattling the crib and talking and making himself heard all over the house! I love this stage!!
